Graphic novel + sci-fi + western = major geek anticipation. I will be in line for Cowboys & Aliens on opening night. That would be July 29, 2011. 

The creative talent behind this movie is staggering. Directed by Jon Favreau (Iron Man). Screenplay by Damon Lindelof (Lost), Alex Kurtzman & Roberto Orci (Star Trek, Fringe, Hawaii Five-0, Alias). Produced by Steven Spielberg, Ron Howard & Brian Grazer.

The cast isn’t too shabby either. Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford, Olivia Wilde, Sam Rockwell, Paul Dano, Adam Beach, Keith Carradine and Walton Goggins (Justified).
